Hi,

I downloaded the zip, opened it in VS2008. When I want to compile I get this error: "The type 'SilverlightDesktopCore.DAL.SilverlightDesktopDAL' already contains a definition for 'mappingSource'" in "...\SilverlightDesktopCore\DAL\SilverlightDesktopDAL.designer.cs"

and a whole lot of "A partial method may not have multiple defining declarations" errors.

So what am I doing wrong?

regards
S

You downloaded the source code not the release: https://www.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ProjectName=SilverlightDesktop&ReleaseId=13326

The source code is not always in a stable state.

I also realized that the repository had files that I moved to the SilverlightDesktopCore project still in the SilverlightWebsite project. This has now been fixed. Changeset 20325 should now compile correctly.
