| Just downloaded the source code and when I run it I get errors in Application_Startup because e.InitParams is empty. |

Can you post the exact error? How many are there? Also, we cannot guarantee that a particular source changeset is stable because we update the repository so often. The released versions are the only ones that have been tested. If the changeset you were trying to build won't build, try an earlier changeset. Thanks |

The version I had was "SilverlightDesktop (01.20.00) - Source" downloaded form the Download page. Essentially when I load the project and run it I get a "The Silverlight project you are about to debug is consuming a web services." and then it comes into Application_Startup you find that e.InitParams is empty so you get an exception. |

Actually I just retrieved a clean copy and its not correctly working in IE, well I'm still getting errors but I think these are down to my own setup issues. Thanks, Colin |

If you set the "SilverlightDesktop_Web" as the startup project and the Default.aspx in the root as the default page it should bring up a link to the installation wizard. The way I run it is to configure an application in IIS to point to the "SilverlightDesktop_Web" project. I then run through the installation wizard. You may want to install the Install package first so you can see how it all works. Like DotNetNuke the source is rather large. |

| You can open the install version in Visual Studio using the directions "Installing SilverlightDesktop using Visual Studio 2008" on the Documentation page. this will bypass any permission issues you may be having. |
